Bombs!


I was struggling with the idea of a secondary ability for a while, because there's a ton of ways I can approach it in this format. I settled on a basic but usable idea.

You now have a bomb meter next to your health in-game. It holds up to 2 charges, as using a bomb will deplete half the meter.

The bomb is a small clear of bullets around you - it does not damage the enemy and cannot erase important bullets (like ANDROID's missile attack).
The bomb meter will slowly recharge over time, but relying on it too much will still leave you vulnerable! It's a last resort, not a first.

These will be available in the 1.0 release of NEEDLE, so please keep an eye on the project!
